We went to Semola on Wednesday 27th July- the food was absolutely amazing. Fresh, delicious and very generous portion sizes… enough to be able to take some home to enjoy the next day! There were some dietary requirements for one of our party (gluten free), so we called ahead and were accommodated with a gluten free vegetarian lasagna, which was magnificent. When we arrived, we were met with the charismatic owner, who made us feel so welcome- thank you for the best pasta ever- we will be back on our next visit! It is definitely a MUST visit for anyone travelling to Lake Balaton.

It's a must, believe me! I ate here one of the best pastas of my life, it's fresh and really tasteful. You can find daily menu with a meat, a fish and veggie pasta option. It's totally worth the price, it's huge portion, we ate it for lunch and took away for dinner as well.

Amazing home-made pasta it is one of the best I tried. I have tried it for the past 4 years, each summer. A bit concerned as yesterday I noticed the taste is drifting to please local customers with the addition of Tejfol on top of Bolognese sauce... (I'm Italian and I feel I need to raise this)

Nice and polite staff, quick service. Pasta itself is very tasty, perfectly cooked, sauce is ok. Price might be a bit high for the first time, but portions are huge! Almost 5000 huf for a pasta, even if it is hand crafted could be disturbing for someone. Location is punk Recommended!
